Meet Rebecca Briggs, MS

Welcome to UpLift Training, a private strength training gym in Bend, Oregon. I’m Rebecca... and strength training changed my life.

I know that sounds cliché, but it’s the truth.

I actually grew up as “the strong one.” Strength was part of my identity. But after having children, life shifted. I became inactive, withdrawn, and more anxious than I wanted to admit. I was an overwhelmed stay-at-home mom, slowly becoming a hermit, struggling quietly and feeling disconnected from the person I used to be.

Walking back into a gym mid-life felt intimidating. Hiring my first coach felt like a leap of faith. But that decision changed everything.

Strength training didn’t turn me into someone new. It brought me back to myself. It reminded me who I’ve always been. It woke me up. It showed me I’m strong in more ways than one. It taught me I’m worth the effort. And it proved that when coaching is intentional, knowledgeable, and precise, outcomes change.

Over time, I became competitive again. Driven. Resilient. I explored Olympic lifting. I fell in love with the Highland Games. But more importantly, I fell in love with coaching.

My transformation made one thing undeniable: great coaching changes outcomes.

 

That realization led me back to school to earn a degrees in exercises science and rehabilitation, and pursue advanced certifications.

 

I didn't just to be a trainer. I wanted to coach at the highest standard - to be a fitness trainer Bend Oregon residents trust. Your results should never depend on guesswork.
